April 26, Wednesday Verona
8:00 we leave from Bologna by bus and come back at night – travel is about 1:45 hour.
10:00 we arrive In Verona where we are booked to visit the famous Arena (Lyric Roman Theatre) you can plain air and can visit the Giulietta balcony (Giulietta and Romeo from the legend and the William Shakespeare). Lunch is free (not organized to allow the personal need, plain air, shopping time).
17:00 Going back to Bologna; we will stop for dinner at the Bologna hills to taste the typical foods and wine from this area
April 27, Thursday Venice
not jet confirmed but we might organize an exposition for the Painting holiday artists in Venice – something very exclusive in the Laguna
8:00 we leave from Bologna by bus and come back at night – travel is about 1:50 hour.
10:00 we arrive In Venice station area, just in front of the Laguna (the old city built in the channels beside and over the sea). We have free time to visit the Laguna, the incredible buildings, or the museums (if you are fond of modern Art don’t miss the Guggenheim museum) the S. Marco Church and the little bridges and squares in Venice. Lunch is free (not organized to allow the personal need, plain air, shopping time).
We meet at 14:00 in the Exhibition venue, for the opening of the exhibition.
17:00 Going back to Bologna; we will stop for dinner at the Abano thermal area to taste other typical foods and wines from this area.
April 28, Friday Florence
8:00 we leave from Bologna by bus and at night we go to Fabriano area – travel to Florence is about 1:48 hour. From Florence to Fabriano is 2:30 hours.
10:00 we arrive In Florence where we are booked to visit the famous Uffizzi Gallery, where is conserved one of the most famous and important Art collection in the world. In Florence you can plain air, visit city center: the very same places where Michelangelo and Leonardo have been living and worked for long time.
17:00 we leave to Fabriano; we will stop for dinner at the Trasimeno lake (Umbria region) to taste different typical foods and wine from this area.
April 29, Saturday Genga / Pierosara / Serra S. Quirico
our hotel will be in Genga S. Vittore, the very same place where the oldest Abby and the biggest caves in Europe are settled. It is also the very center of the Naturalistic Marche Region Park: this area is very green and very spiritual since paleolitic time.
We will dedicate the morning to rest in the green, plain air in the river and for those who wish, to visit the Caves.
In the afternoon we will take the bus and move to Genga and Pierosara Castle – we can do plein air or walk by the old places and the ancient lands. Later we go to Serra San Quirico, to see the city square, the Copertelle architecture and have dinner with the local community
April 30, Sunday S. Urbano / Elcito (to be confermed) / Vinery dinner
We will visit the Sant Urbano ancient Abbey, a perfect place to take a rest and do a plein air or a collective painting. In the afternoon we go to visit Elcito: the castle and the ancient village in the heart of the naturalist area. We will spend the evening at one of the local vineyard where we will have typical dinner at the sunset.
May 1, Monday Fabriano / the exhibition /the Paper Museum / Painting in main square / the Cantamaggio
We will fully spend our last day in Fabriano: by the FabrianoInAcquarello international exhibition, the paper museum, the square and the paper makers places.
We will conclude the day with a farewell dinner and the singer from the Cantamaggio old songs.
May 2, Tuesday LEAVING - Bus bring the artist back to Bologna – train is available to Rome
